Thailand: Bangkok
Thailand: Bangkok
There is something very special about the air of Bangkok. Hot and thick. Smog and sun. Lethargic and full of energy at the same time. Soft, cuddly, with its unique smell.
Charcoal smoke everywhere - from the home kitchens, from the street food stalls - everywhere. The lovely and the ugly, all the smells blending together. Those unpleasant never too difficult, as they pass so quickly, often immediately replaced with a nice surprise. Sewage followed by mango sold at the street corner. Cooked rice, coconut, green tea, fish, washing powder, car fumes, fried chicken, sweet pancakes.
The constant buzz of cars and motorbikes. Living.
